Please click on the Year Group buttons below for our Home Learning Projects. These will be updated each week.
We also have a variety of NON-SCREEN ideas that the children can do without the need for online programmes. Click on the button below. We will continue to update this section regularly.
Please see the Year 6 tab for some useful websites that children may want to use to play a variety of Maths, English and spelling activities.
We know that there are no Year 6 SATs this year, but these website might help children in preparing for their transition to Secondary School:

Work is allocated to them by their year groups and will be updated regularly.
There are also ideas of some additional free online learning activities located in each year group.
We have set up an email account that you can access if you need to send us a message – firstname.lastname@example.org – this can be used to notify us if:
- They have completed all of their work on My Maths or Bug Club and you would like more set
- They have forgotten their login details
If your child is proud of their work or project, you may want to share it on our school Twitter account @PennyhillSchool
Please do not worry if your child is reluctant to do this work with you – they are used to a school setting where the structure is much more rigid – some children do not associate doing school work at home and should not be pressurised. We understand this and don’t want you to feel pressured to complete tasks set. Try choosing an activity that the child wants to do and just aim for a small amount of time each day.
The key will be making it engaging and fun for children, especially during this worrying time.
As promised – here are some links to support children if they are feeling anxious or unsure of what is happening.
