Aims
To provide an accelerated approach to address the needs of pupils with special educational needs.
To promote access to the National Curriculum and to consider any reasonable adjustments that can be made to promote inclusion for all pupils with SEND pupils.
Ethos
At Pennyhill the emphasis is on developing the whole child through a whole school approach. All staff accept responsibility for providing children with realistic goals within a broad and balanced appropriate curriculum. We believe in nurturing and developing the educational, social, emotional, spiritual and cultural aspects by curriculum design and teaching approaches.
All children matter and deserve a curriculum that meets their needs. This is achieved through encouraging good practice for all pupils and that the majority of pupils with learning difficulties, require work to be suitably presented and differentiated to match their need.
