Physical Activity and PE
When people think of PE, they often think of mean teachers bellowing at them to do things they hate before breaking out in cold sweats… but it shouldn’t be that way and it definitely isn’t at Pennyhill!
Now more than ever, engaging in regular physical activity is vital – for our children and their families alike, particularly during these uncertain times. Exercise is crucial for people of all ages in learning how our bodies move, adapt to movement and stresses, improving our motor skills, fitness, balance and coordination, as well as improving our general daily moods and mental wellbeing.
We want all of our children to feel these benefits (and our parents too), so this section of the website has been created to serve as a handy, go-to guide for engaging in some fun, pressure-free and hugely beneficial physical activity, either outdoors or within your homes. We hope that you find these links useful, that you enjoy interacting with them and, most importantly, you feel inspired to consistently hit your own exercise goals.
And if you feel really adventurous, you can share your journeys with us, via enquiries@pennyhill.sandwell.sch.uk or via the school Twitter feed @PennyhillSchool
